A Cornish construction company has undergone a complete brand refresh, revealing its new brand identity and launching a new website.
Established in 1972, St Austell based Gilbert & Goode is transforming into a residential developer, with its new look being an integral part of its repositioning.
Managing director Pete Sadler said: “Our new, modern identity really reflects where we are now as a company, our values, and our vision for the future.
“We instructed the expertise of Dapper Marketing Group to create our new branding, and creative agency Focus to build the website – and we are really pleased with the outcome.
“Our new business strategy moves us away from being a local contractor, and positions us as a developer of high quality homes across Cornwall and Devon. Our new look aligns us with other residential developers, which puts us in a good position when building relationships with stakeholders such as land agents and clients, as well as our customers.”
Gilbert & Goode has been part of the Ocean Housing Group since 2005, and employs 35 people. Building both open market and affordable homes, the company is aiming to build 125 properties within the next year, creating a turnover of £20m. Its main focus is to be a profitable and sustainable residential developer which contributes to the charitable aims of the group, with its profits gift-aided back into Ocean to invest in social housing.
Ocean Housing Group’s chief executive, Mark Gardner, said: “Since Pete’s appointment last year, Gilbert & Goode has made huge progress in these difficult times.
“His experience of the residential market and construction industry has brought valuable insights into how the business can improve processes, nurture our talented team, and maximise profitability with a focus on our customers.
“As housing demand continues to be high in the South West, the group is supporting Gilbert & Goode in its expansion to be able to deliver high quality housing and communities for us here at Ocean, and also with selected partners across the region.”
