Cornish PR and digital marketing agency Barefoot Media has appointed two new members to its team.
The agency welcomes Laura Sherlock in the role of junior account manager, and Natalie Lake joins as account executive.

“We have a long commitment to developing talent within the agency, and I’m pleased to announce that in addition to the new hires we have recently promoted two of our team, with Chris Penfold taking on the role of Senior Account Director and Tom Meldrum as Junior Account Manager.”
Laura is a familiar face at Barefoot, having previously completed a six-month internship with the agency after finishing university in 2016. After time gaining valuable marketing experience with lifestyle brands in Cornwall, London and New Zealand, she has now rejoined the team to specialise in PR and social media management.
This is Natalie’s first marketing role, after graduating last year with a degree in Marketing from the University of Plymouth. She brings a wealth of knowledge to the role, combining three years of studying the industry with previous experience working for Cornish hospitality businesses and public sector organisations.
In 2021, Barefoot’s professionalism and resilience throughout the pandemic was recognised in the CIPR Pride Awards, with the agency winning silver in the Outstanding Small PR Consultancy category.
