The ultimate Christmas dinner hack has been created by award-winning south London pub group, Three Cheers Pub Co.
Created for everyone who loves Christmas dinner but fails to get excited about turkey, The ‘Rudolph Burger’ provides an indulgent festive fix in a bun, in a jiffy, and with room and energy left to carry on partying.
Made from British venison mince, The Rudolph Burger also crams in melted Stilton (obligatory Christmas cheese: check); cranberry sauce (as traditional as granny falling asleep on the sofa: check); caramelised onions and gherkin (ahoy ‘trimmings’); all served with hand cut chips (your classic roastie in a more friendly finger shape).
Available at all seven Three Cheers sites, the £13 burger has been developed for everyone who adores festive food but winces at the thought of how much food they’ll actually have to eat this December.
The Rudolph goes on sale from 23rd November to 24th December, and can be found at seven of south London’s finest pubs including The Avalon in Clapham, The Latchmere in Battersea and The Rosendale in Dulwich.
If you can handle the more traditional Christmas Day feast, Three Cheers Pubs are of course more than happy to oblige.
With menus starting at £18 for two courses, dishes include home-smoked salmon with rye bread; devilled quail’s eggs and caviar; or slow cooked beef short rib with celeriac gratin, cavolo nero, port and thyme jus.
Plus with most pubs open on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, there’s something for every level of festive fan.
