A popular Newquay hotel has announced a series of festive events for December.
The Hotel Bristol, which overlooks Newquay’s Tolcarne Beach, will be hosting a packed schedule of charitable concerts, festive dining experiences, and Christmas parties.
Lukasz Wilczkowski, general manager, said: “Christmas is one of our favourite times of year at The Hotel Bristol. Our event spaces and rooms are beautifully decorated, we’re serving some delicious festive food and drink across our bar and restaurant, and our team is really getting into the Christmas spirit.
“After a break last year caused by the pandemic, we can’t wait to welcome our guests back for Christmas dining and parties, and do our bit in raising money for local charities.”
The first event taking place is the RNLI hosted Christmas Concert on 2 December. Starting at 7:30pm, The Hotel Bristol will welcome the Newquay Male Voice Choir and the a cappella group Oll an Gwella to perform in aid of the charity. Admission is £5 with all proceeds going to the Newquay branch of the RNLI.
Starting on Saturday 4 December The Hotel Bristol will also host a series of Christmas Party nights, where guests are invited to enjoy a three-course meal followed by coffee and chocolates.
For £30 per person, the evening includes dinner with Christmas crackers and party novelties, and will be followed by a disco in the ballroom. Other Christmas party nights are taking place on Friday 11, Friday 17 and Saturday 18 December. Accommodation will be available from £49 per room.
Then, on Sunday 5 December the hotel will host the St Michael’s Masonic Lodge which is throwing a Christmas concert with both The Rowing Club Singers and Oll an Gwella performing a range of festive classics and sea shanties.
Staring at 6.30pm, tickets are £6 each, with proceeds going to local homeless and mental health charities DISC Newquay and Man Down.
Every Sunday throughout the month, visitors can also enjoy a festive luncheon in the dining room, with views over Tolcarne Beach.
At £17 for two courses or £20 for three courses, the menu, which changes weekly, will include a choice of Christmas favourites including a vegetarian option, and will be available to view on the hotel’s Facebook page.
