Truro’s New Year’s Eve Cathedral Masquerade returns to the spectacular Truro Cathedral for a third time this December, offering guests a chance to step into a whimsical and enchanting world of masks, ball gowns and tuxedos to ring in 2024 in style.
A red carpet arrival followed by a welcome drink and canapés will kick the evening off while a host of entertainers, aerial acrobatics, lasers, a silent disco, DJs, a champagne bar, and much more will follow into the early hours with the cathedral bells ringing at midnight.
With a black tie dress code offering guests the chance to arrive in tuxedos or smart suits and ball gowns or cocktail dresses with a masquerade mask of their choice, the evening will be full of glitz and glamour.
Confirmed acts for the Cathedral Masquerade 2023 include:
Joining the line up is Danae B & Friends who will be taking over the event’s dance space, Heaven’s Dancefloor to play a range of club classics guaranteed to set the party atmosphere. Danae B is no stranger to Cornish events, previously playing at Live at Scorrier House, Rattler Fest, The Great Estate Festival, and Boardmasters.
Cathedral Masquerade organisers, Ben Hall and Ian Whittaker of Quick Panda Productions, said: “We couldn’t be more excited about making our return to Truro Cathedral this year to ring in the new year; what an incredible venue to hold an event like this in.
“We are very grateful that the event has attracted several fantastic sponsors, including Korev, Moët, and Tarquin’s and we’ve got so much in store for guests this year so it’s on track to be an unforgettable night.”
Early bird tickets have sold out and general admission is now open with a limited number of tickets available at £55.00 per person plus a £4.50 booking fee. This tier has sold 60% of tickets already and when fully sold out, a final ticket tier will open which will see the last remaining tickets go on sale at £65.00 plus booking fee.
Admission is strictly for guests aged 18 or over, and the entry fee includes a welcome drink and canapés.
