Ocean Housing Group based in St Austell has been awarded silver accreditation against the Investors in People Standard, demonstrating its commitment to realising the potential of its people.
The Ocean Group includes Ocean Housing Group Limited, Ocean Housing Limited, and Gilbert and Goode Limited.
The group builds homes for rent, shared ownership and sale, and currently has more than 4,700 homes in management throughout Cornwall, and will be building a further 1,000 over the next five years. The Group employs 240 staff and has an annual turnover in excess of £40 million.
Investors in People is the international standard for people management, depicting what it takes to lead, support and manage people effectively to achieve sustainable business results.
