Adventure packages combining cycling and water sports are now available at a north-Cornwall farmstay.
The offer includes two nights accommodation in one of the 30 cottages at The Olde House, near Polzeath, and a choice of activities over two days. Cycle the Camel Trail on day one; then choose from adrenaline-fuelled water sports on day two, including surfing, stand-up-paddleboarding or kayaking.
The package is available throughout spring and autumn, excluding school holidays, from £96 per person.
The Olde House, a recent finalist at the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence, is situated on a 550 acre working farm in Chapel Amble, five miles from Polzeath Beach.

“North Cornwall has some of the world’s best surfing beaches, and Polzeath is great for both beginners and those that are a little more confident in the sea. And the nearby Camel Trail proves very popular with our guests, for spectacular views of the estuary only accessible by bike or on foot.”
The Olde House has partnered with Bridge Bike Hire, Wavehunters and Cornish Coast Adventures to offer the package, each established specialist activity providers.
On Saturdays, Bridge Bike Hire will supply bikes at their Wadebridge hub located on the Camel Trail. Guests can cycle six miles towards Bodmin and Wenford Bridge for a woodland escape, or five miles to Padstow for estuary views and award-winning restaurants including Rick Stein’s The Seafood Restaurant and Paul Ainsworth’s No.6.
On Sunday, guests can explore the beautiful Port Quin coastline on a Cornish Coast Adventures sea kayak or coasteering expedition. Alternatively, Wavehunters at Polzeath will be providing surf and stand-up-paddleboard lessons or, for a chance to spot dolphins and seals, a safari boat trip from Rock.
The Olde House activity weekends can accommodate from two to 12 guests, making them a great option for a party of thrill-seekers or a couple looking for a weekend break.
